This book is dedicated to my father, Gerald Fredric Gallup,
who tragically died in 1977…
my mother, Margaret Ann Gallup (née Whitesell),
who dauntlessly went on living…
and my brother, Michael Patrick Gallup,
who was an innocent bystander, like myself.
